Yvonne Hall, MD, is a board-certified general and geriatric psychiatrist. She serves patients at Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services in Los Lunas and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Dr. Hall has over 27 years of experience in the mental health area. She completed a residency in general psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a residency in geriatric psychiatry at Yale Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut.
She has researched and presented in professional symposiums on various topics, notably on special problems of Hispanic and Spanish-speaking elders, dementia, and “yelling out” behaviors in geriatric patients.
Dr. Hall has correctional and educational experience as a psychiatrist for the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was also an assistant professor and attending psychiatrist at the UNM Adult Psychiatric Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 5 years. She is currently a preceptor at the Burrell School of Medicine located in Las Cruces, New Mexico and a preceptor in the PA program at Saint Francis University located in New Mexico
A native Spanish speaker, Dr. Hall practices in English or Spanish and is licensed in the state of New Mexico. She looks forward to treating existing patients at Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services.
