About Paula Eastman, RN, BSN, MSN, PMHNP

Paula Eastman, RN, BSN, MSN, PMHNP, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience. She works with adults ages 18 and over at Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services in Los Lunas and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Paula earned her associate degree in nursing from Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia.

After practicing as a registered nurse for nearly 10 years, Paula returned to school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She earned her board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in 2014.

Paula specializes in adult psychiatry at Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services. She works with patients to help them navigate their mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorder.

Before coming to Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services, Paula worked as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in several facilities, including the University of New Mexico Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry, Haven Behavioral Health, and Elemental Healthcare Inc. in Albuquerque.
