Javed Caprietta, FNP-C, is a board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner at Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services in Los Lunas and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He is dedicated to providing a full spectrum of mental and behavioral health care in an outpatient setting.
Javed received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Governors University in Millcreek, Utah. Shortly after, he achieved his Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Eager to further his education, Javed later earned his psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification at Florida State University in Tallahassee.
Javed has extensive experience working in the emergency department. He served as a contractor nurse at various hospitals like Providence Medical Center in Everett, Washington, Dameron Hospital in Stockton, California, El Centro Medical Center in El Centro, California, and Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, New Mexico.
He also served as a nurse practitioner for the emergency department at Presbyterian Hospital System in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a PRN nurse practitioner at Marathon Health St Johns in St Augustine, Florida, and Crucial Care in Jacksonville, Florida.
He is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced trauma life support, basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, and more. He also holds his Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and New Mexico Certified Nurse Practitioner licenses.
Javed enjoys working alongside the Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services team and providing quality care to new and current patients.
