Yvonne D. Hall, MD
Medical Director and Founder
Dr. Hall is board certified in both General and Geriatric Psychiatry, and has over 15 years of experience in the Mental Health area. Dr. Hall completed residency in General Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University and in Geriatric Psychiatry at Yale Medical School. She has researched and presented in professional symposia on various topics, notably on special problems of Hispanic and Spanish speaking elders, dementia and “yelling out” behaviors in geriatric patients. Dr. Hall has both correctional and educational experience as a Psychiatrist for the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque NM and as an Asst. Prof. and Attending Psychiatrist at the University of NM Mental Health Center . A native Spanish speaker, Dr. Hall practices in English or Spanish . She is licensed in the state of New Mexico .
Jimmy Calzado is a Board Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of New Mexico. He obtained his Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His previous psychiatric experience includes clinical rotations in Las Cruces at Ben Archer Health Clinics, Southwest Counseling Center, and Mesilla Valley Hospital. His previous work experience includes charge nurse at Mesilla Valley Hospital’s acute adult/geriatric psychiatric ward, staff RN at Dona Ana County Detention Center, and a staff RN at Memorial Medical Center’s critical care unit in Las Cruces, NM. He also spent a year as a travel nurse working in the intensive care unit in hospitals in Arlington, TX as well as in Tuba City, AZ. He has been a resident of New Mexico for the past 18 years and was primarily raised in Florida. His focus is medication management for a variety of mental health conditions in the adult and geriatric population.
Halima Goodwin, DNP, CPNP-PC, PMHNP-BC is a Doctoral prepared, nationally certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Goodwin, Nurse Practitioner obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing from Hampton University, a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland, and a Post Master’s Certificate from Rivier University in New Hampshire. She has served the nursing field with an emphasis in pediatric primary care and mental health care for 20 years.
She began her nursing career at a residential treatment center for children and adolescents in Virginia and
following relocation, expanded her services to clinical research in the Child Health and Human Services Heritable Disorders Branch at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. From there she became a leader in the District of Columbia Government serving children and adolescents detained and in the care of Child Protective Services, simultaneous to managing a child and adolescent Acute Psychiatric Unit in Maryland.
During her tenure in Florida, Dr. Goodwin, Nurse Practitioner completed training as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, performed over 1000 sexual abuse examinations and provided expert testimony for cases in Miami Dade federal courts, Broward County courts, and Palm Beach County courts.
She brings a wealth of knowledge in regards to primary care, mental health care, child and adolescent health and wellness, referral services, and prevention and treatment services for multiple medical and mental health diagnoses.
